Gardner Martin, recumbent bicycle pioneer and founder of Easy Racers Recumbents, has passed away.. He fought the fight of his life. Never giving up, Gardner faced his illness head on. He didn't let it get in the way of living. Gardner lived life to the fullest. with his passions for flying; racing; collecting old cars and building and designing recumbent bikes. Personally, I never heard him complain once or feel sorry for himself. Gardner was truly a mans man. I have known Gardner for the past 14 years in the recumbent business and consider myself lucky for getting to know such a unique, creative and courageous man. . He was one of the "good guys". So long my friend.You had a good ride.
